Certifications

At Gotelli Boilers & Heating, we are certified to test backflows and issue Permits to Operate (PTOs). In San Francisco (and many other areas within the Bay Area), if you have a building with multiple occupancies, multiple residences or a boiler with a certain BT rating, you are required to have a Permit to Operate the boiler. It must be inspected once a year and the certification renewed. If you qualify for a PTO, it’s something you must do or the penalties will accrue. We make the process as simple and painless as possible, so leave it to us!
